Eric brings great sensitivity and warmth to these renditions of Billy's more popular works, as well as the lesser known medleys. His own Mayerl Shots are a delightful tribute to Billy and display all the knowledge of the idiom that a lifetime at the keyboard brings. This CD would make a marvellous introduction to people who know little about Billy, containing as it does music from the beginning to the end of Billy's composing life.
